Scripture lesson: John 14:22-23 Jesus still with us
Time to reflect: The larger context of these verses is a saying by Jesus that after his death the world at large will think he is gone, but that he will be a real presence for the church. What makes the difference? Love. Love of God makes room for God.
Moving through the day: Do you have room for God? As a part of your prayer, picture Jesus coming to you and you lovingly letting him come into your home.
Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?"
Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
